Department of Business Information

Development of leaders who will drive information society using knowledge of business administration
and IT

For some time now, we have been living in so-called information-based society, where information management using computers is becoming ever more important, especially for corporate management. Taking business administration and IT as its main educational areas, the Department offers a motivating learning environment. Various experience-based lectures are given using the latest multimedia equipment, with support programs available to students wishing to acquire IT-related certification. Specialized skills in data analysis, system development and programming, as well as expertise in identifying new business opportunities using IT, are required in today's business society. The Department aims to educate businesspersons who have such skills and knowledge, and who use them effectively.

Department of Finance

Development of specialists in financial trading/management and accounting

Today, intangible properties are valued more highly than ever before. Global financial markets are now paying greater attention to intangible assets such as stocks and corporate bonds, and intellectual properties such as brands and patents, than to tangible properties. As financial factors become increasingly important in the market economy, many businesses need specialists with knowledge of financial trading and management, as well as accounting. The Department offers comprehensive learning programs based on long-term plans to acquire knowledge of business administration, accounting and IT. Students learn the entire picture of money flow, which is the bloodstream of business, and acquire the latest in financial expertise, so as to eliminate risk at source through these programs. To develop specialists, support is provided to encourage and assist students in acquiring certification as tax accountants and chartered accountants.
