Horizons Summer Program 2018

Secondly, I got much experiences in this program, such as visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kinkakuji in Kyoto, making Magatama and Takoyaki Sample, and Tea Ceremony with OUE students and so on.
Thirdly, the stuffs and professors of OUE are very friendly and nice for the students. They gave us airport pick up, always looked after us and solved our all questions and problems. Especially, I am vegan, the stuffs prepared special meals for me. It’s very kindness.

●Ms. HOU, MEI-YU (Taiwan: Shih Chien University)
I was really glad to join the summer program in my last period of time of my university life!
I felt really taken care by all the teachers and student staffs, they were so nice that I think language is no longer the only bridge between people and people. We had so much fun together!
Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to get along with most of the students, otherwise, I would love to know more and make friends with them.
During the two weeks, I had learned a lot about Japan and happy to improve my Japanese in such a short time. Hope I can improve my Japanese more in the future so that I can go back to Japan and visit all the friends and teachers in OUE. ^ ^

Horizons summer program 2018 in Osaka University of Economic is my best memory. School provided abundant classes for us to know about Japan and experience Japanese culture. School class from Japanese language to convenient store system, not only could I improve my Japanese but also enrich my knowledge of Japan. School activities from takoyaki party to city one day trip, we could learn from books but also from our own experience.
With kindly professors and friendly volunteers’ efforts, the program was very successful and joyful. I am grateful to all the staff who was contributed themselves to the program and I had my best time during these two weeks in Osaka.

The Osaka university of Economics summer horizons programme has been one of the best overseas experiences I’ve ever had. From as soon as I hopped off the plane I was welcomed with warm and inviting arms and taken to our accommodation, which was very nice. Everyone I met on this programme was so kind and lovely and made my stay in Japan the utmost enjoyable.
The school took us on amazing trips and helped us create the most amazing memories that’s I will cherish forever. I feel as though my trip was filled with the best things Osaka has to offer and I was more than satisfied with the amazing trips the school provided for us.
With this programme being connected with all OUE’s partering Universities this encouraged me to make some amazing friendships with people from all around the world that will also be cherished and kept forever.
As well as the programme I got to enjoy the most amazing food, experience all food Osaka has to offer and with the help of the staff I got to tick some amazing places off my bucket list in my spare time.
This programme has been the highlight of my year and I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend this programme to anyone pondering on the idea of attending.
I am so thankful for having this opportunity, for the staff to making my stay as pleasant as it could have ever been.
