Join Us at OUE

Osaka flourished as a commercial city (and the breadbasket of the nation) during the Edo period (1603-1867), when foods and various other goods
from all over Japan flooded into the city. Later, in the late 19th and early
20th centuries, it developed into an industrial city centered on the textile
industry and was called the Manchester of the Orient. Even today, given
our location in Osaka, the center of the Kansai economy, Osaka University of Economics hopes to be a place where all students can acquire the
specialized knowledge they desire, think together, and proactively take
action.
We look forward to welcoming you to OUE, where you can achieve your
academic goals and embark on an exciting journey of personal and
professional growth.
